On behalf of Gamma Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, welcome to our website. It is with immense pleasure that I assume the role as the 32nd President of Gamma Alpha Omega Chapter and provide leadership to over two hundred dynamic ladies. We are proud to provide impactful service to the Jackson, TN community and surrounding counties.

For more than 85 years, Gamma Alpha Omega Chapter has been deeply embedded in serving this community by providing countless volunteer service hours to various needed endeavors. We have proudly partnered with other community organizations to multiply our impact. We look forward to continued partnerships. We have provided over $100,000 in scholarships to high school students in the Jackson-Madison School System seeking higher education. We have also donated over $10,000 a year to other community organizations such as the United Way, S.A.A.C.A., RIFA, WRAP, S.W.A.G., The Boys and Girls Club of Jackson, TN, The Dream Center, and The Eric Beasley Foundation to name a few with funds raised through our Calendar Fundraiser and Gala.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated impacts the lives of individuals worldwide through the implementation of our international program initiatives. Under the leadership of our International President and C.E.O., Danette Anthony Reed, the theme of the sorority is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood which includes six program initiatives which include, Strengthen Our Sisterhood, Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice and Uplift Our Local Community.
